This very large piece emerged from a series of days and months at the studio writing, painting and drawing listening to the Summer concerto from Four Seasons by Vivaldi on loop. It holds countless interactions, a painting made from addition, subtraction, pushing and pulling, spontaneity and constraint. The concerto Summer is indeed a very important piece for me: it holds the energy, the anticipation, the highs and lows of summer, the sounds of the land and the murmur of the voices at the bars in hot summer nights. Indeed, this is a piece to be heard together with the concerto: as the movements of the brush on the surface follow the tempo of the music, my mind wonders in anticipation for my 43rd summer.
