A recent recognition I’m thankful for - and an invite

I’m thrilled to share that I have been awarded first place in the ARTIST PRIZE artBAM 2025 here in Munich where I’m writing from.

I also want to warmly congratulate the other prizewinners:

• 2nd place: Susanne Gorcks (Augsburg), whose work explores Berührungspunkte (“points of contact”)

• 3rd place: Carina Steidele (Munich), who documents traces of transience through her unique fire drawings

In addition, the exhibition features works by other talented artists shortlisted: Dorit Lecke, Tobias Degel, Susanna Storch, Maria Zacharogianni, Lisa Schuhbeck, and Markus Mehr.

Konsum 163 will be presenting our art across an impressive 600 m² at Pasinger Fabrik, including works of contemporary art from Konsum163 artists, including: Petra Amtsberg-Hoffmann, Nicole Battiston, Cornelia Bier, Mela Diamant, Diana Drubach, Conny Gabora, Pe Hagen, Sylvia Joel, Brigitte Oberlik-Burtscher, Markus Prummer, Anna-Katharina Rintelen, Thomas Räpke, Gottfried Römer, Petra Schott, Gregor Stehle, Marika Thoms, and Bettina Zapp.
